Amtrak Funding

Some of Amtrak's plans include removing us from Railroad Retirement and moving us to Social Security. Other plans include contracting out our work, eliminating FELA, having our contracts expire so everything must be renegotiated work rules, seniority, pay scales and everything else in our agreement.

Amtrak President Gunn has asked the workers of Amtrak to give it their all while he takes care of the funding. Well, he is selling us out to get the money. The information below speaks for itself. Amtrak's strategic plan lays out where we fit in. It is 52 pages long.
